Cancellation of service MUST be done by the account holder by phoning our office. If you are moving , please plan accordingly with calling us in a timely manner prior to the move date. If you are cancelling service during a bill cycle you will do so at forfeiting any prepaid monies. To protect you, Buckingham will not honor cancellation from competitors.  THIRD PARTY CANCELLATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTED

As we all know fuel prices fluctuate, not only locally but throughout the nation and in the cold months fuel additives may be required. So how does Buckingham determine what fuel surcharge to pass along to our customers. We of course could build it into our monthly price and then give annual increases like our competitors do, or we can do as we have done for all these years and be transparent on how it works in order to give our customers the best value. Just know that the price you see posted outside your neighborhood gas station is not the price that is used!

First of all, we follow the US Energy Information Administration prices published for Deisel by the US Government.

The last week of each month we use the current fuel price then match it to the fuel surcharge percentage on the attached chart.
That percent is associated to each line of service a customer has. Due to quarterly billing, the surcharge at the beginning of your cycle is consistent for your entire cycle.

It’s that simple, honest transparent pricing.
